Usage & Plans

Tracking usage

See how many credits you have used this month, in the dashboard or with the API.

In the dashboard

Open the dashboard and go to Usage. It shows:

  • Credits remaining this month, with used / limit and your current plan.
  • Credits by month for the last 3, 6 or 12 months, per API key or in total, with a CSV download.
  • Recent activity: every API request your account made in the last 90 days, and what each one cost.

The sidebar also shows a compact API requests meter on every page.

Recent activity

Use it to answer "what used my credits". You can also open it from the Usage & requests button on the dashboard's API page.

  • Chart. Credits by hour (by day for windows over a week), per key, in UTC. Click a bar to see the requests behind it.
  • Filters. Pick a window (last hour to 90 days) and a key. Search what you sent or paste a request id. Filter by Status, Endpoint and Cost.
  • Requests. Newest first: time, key, endpoint with a summary of the query, status, jobs returned and credits charged. Requests from the dashboard or the MCP server are labelled as such.
  • Why it was free. A request that cost nothing says why: Already paid, No results, Over quota (402), Rate limited (429) or Refunded (an error on our side).
  • Details. Click a request to see the body you sent, request id, error message, duration, client and IP address. API keys are redacted, bodies over 4 KB are cut, and responses are not stored.
  • Download CSV exports the filtered window, up to the newest 5,000 requests.

Requests with a missing or invalid key are not listed, since they are not tied to an account.

In search responses

Every search response reports metadata.credits_remaining and metadata.credits_allowance, so your code can see what is left without an extra call.

Credits reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). A 402 means you are out: wait for the reset, buy credits or upgrade. On Free, the 1,000 credits are one-time and do not reset.
